WHO ARE WE?
We are two people in love with Jesus, in love with each other, and excited to pursue living more sustainably, in community, offering a space of hope and healing to friends on their journey of recovery. So, we have a lot to learn, and are heading out on a trip around the country to explore...
So, a little bit more about us:
Sarah has been working to instigate the Body of Christ in Boston to interrupt the systems of human trafficking, through collaborative relational networks… and Jared came over from InnerChange, San Francisco Outer Circle in 2014 to hang out in lots of snow and eventually ask Sarah to marry him, while working at a youth shelter and a composting company. We got married March 2016- yay! And felt it was important to stay in Boston for a year after marriage to develop our relationship and community of 2, but as 2017 rolled around we started to get excited to explore what God had in store for us next, and we started to dream…

The vision is to be a part of a Christian community living on the land creatively sustainably, growing food in food forests/ Permaculture gardens, and a space of healing for folks on their journey of recovery from all kinds of brokenness – addictions, abuse, exploitation, burnout… We dream of a space where everyone has a valuable role to play, and through all of the daily life rhythms Jesus is known and glorified, and God’s love brings healing and restoration.
So, we are leaving Boston in early July to head out on a road trip for about a year of exploring. We will be living in our van and driving around the country visiting places that are doing some or all of these things building our networks of whats going on in these spaces, and especially hoping to learn more about permaculture and food forests through various work-trade opportunities.

In about a year we will look over all we have learned, and discern with Jesus where we are called to join in for the next season.
